An 8.5"x11" cardstock paper cutting of Saint Paul's Cathedral in London.
I had a very tough time getting this done. Some issues in my personal life left me feeling like my time was best spent curled in a ball. Regardless, I was able to get this done. I would have cut an outline but I had a lot of problems getting the detail in here. Everything is just so small! Next time this gets cut out larger.
Saint Paul's just so happens to be one of my favorite buildings because it inspired my love for architectural history. I went on a three week trip to London/Paris my junior year of college. When I went into this building my professor said very little about the building's history and I was rather disappointed. How do you NOT talk about the building's history in an architecture class???
